Remembering Awdah Hathaleen
by Resolute RGL
Watch Basel Adra speak about the killing of Awdah Hathaleen, a beloved elder of Masafer Yatta and a symbol of steadfastness. Awdah dedicated his life to protecting his community and resisting displacement, and his loss is felt deeply by all who knew him.
Through voices like Basel’s, we honor his memory and continue the struggle for justice, dignity, and the right to remain on the land.
Stand with the community of Masafer Yatta.

I’m so sorry it has taken this long for many of us to see the truth of the occupier’s vicious brutality, that Palestinians have had to bear for nearly 80 years. Our eyes and hearts are wide open and we will continue to fight for Palestinian liberation in all the ways we can.
The world stands with you all in Massafar Yatta. The loss of Awda must be so hard to bear, sincere condolences. Stay strong – things are turning and the entire world has seen the true face of Zionism. WE STAND WITH YOU
My deepest condolences to you all. You are an inspiration to everyone.
My love and prayers to you beautiful people – I pray for humanity to ascend to a higher state of being, into love where there can be no separation so negative destructive energy, every day. With love and hope to us all 🙏
I feel so sad that Europe does not do anything to stop this genocide. It is a shame for all of the humanity. I would like so much doing something to help. Everything I can Do is watching the news getting worst and worst. I dont know any palestiniens but I am crying every day when I read the news. Many times I would like not being european anymore, as our politicians are so corrupted and without humanity. Every day I still read the news, with the hope that something good will happen for you. I wish this will happen as fast as possible. All of my thinking is going to palestinians every day.
I am a farmer in France. If one day somebody needs to go to France (for medical reasons, or because a family is not strong enough to resist), you can contact me. M’y husband is an advocate for foreigners, and we have a room in the barn on our land close to Montpellier where a family could feel safe again. And we could help for the papers as much as possible.
All the best,
Juliette
