Each Lena Elegant sport pair is made to order, not mass-produced.
During sneaker production in Portugal, we receive all Tatreez panels embroidered by the women of Masafer Yatta. Any leftover Tatreez from the assembly process is kept in Portugal — never discarded. Instead of throwing it away, we collect every usable fragment and give it a new purpose.

These recycled Tatreez pieces are then assembled in Portugal into our zero-waste patch, ensuring that none of the women’s hand-embroidered work is ever lost or wasted.Production time: 8–10 weeks from the day you place your order

Once embroidered panels are ready, they are sent to Portugal, where expert shoemakers assemble each pair using ethical, high-quality techniques that combine heritage with contemporary design.

If you need to return your sneakers because of a fit issue please return the shoes to us in their original packaging and we will handle the exchange. Let us know the size you need and we will send it to you. There is a small $7 fee at the exchange as this is our first production run, we hope to have free exchanges in 2026 so look out for that :)
